'94 Chrysler LHS factory alarm disarm!

I am not putting a car alarm...I simply want to disarm the factory one. It will not disarm without the keyless entry in which I have lost.

From your wiring diagram it says the lt. grn./orange (-) wire is the factory disarm, and on dodgeintrepid.net they say to gorund it to the kick panel. I cannot even find the wire, I am not sure what a kick panel is, much less how to remove it. I am completely clueless here. Please Help!

Kick panal....think of kicking something. (you use your feet)posted_image So, a kick panal is down by your feet. the panal that is on 'the wall" next to your left foot. The suspect wire cannot simply be grounded. It can't "stay" grounded. It needs a pulsed signal

Can the dealer NOT sell you a new transmitter?

Take a look at the picture here

The kickpad is the area that's just left of the driver's left foot. Remove the plastic shroud to expose the wires as shown in the picture.

Once you find the light green wire with an orange stripe, strip the wire then touch it to a ground point (bare metal) anywhere for about three seconds. The factory alarm is now disarmed.

Thank you very much but I grounded it and it still comes on when I lock the doors.

The only thing I have got to work is taking the door lock fuse out, it allows me to use the key to disarm the alarm.

What do I do?

Can the dealer permanently disarm it?

The dealer can sell you a keyless transmitter.

Please excuse my ignorance but I fail to see what the problem is.

If you lock the door, it arms. That's a good thing.

If you unlock the door it disarms. That's a good thing.
