I have a 1998 Subaru Legacy 4 door that I purchased used about a yeay ago. It came with a clifford matrix 1 (I believe frrom the shape of the remote, like a fat hourglass has three buttons, one large on top and two smaller ones below it). There is a red LED on the dash that says clifford, and the valet switch has two little buttons one plain and one with a star). Everything was fine until a few days ago. The alarm was set to what I believe valet mode when I got it as the LED was on all the time. All of a sudden the alarm is armed and I can't get it back to valet mode using all of the procedures in the manual I downloaded! I am tired of the alarm going off everytime I open the doors! Also I haven't seen any manuals that describe the valet switch as two buttons. Any help would be appreciated, an install manual would be great! I did down load the RS 1.1 manual but I am not sure if this is the same as the Matrix 1?
Thanks

Hmm, It does unlock the doors and chirps the alarm so I believe it is good.

thats not a Matrix 1, but an earlier model.. check the brain for the exact model #... the Matrix 1 did not use the 2 button valet switch....
