objective- in effort to prove that the GRAY key does NOT work w/ magnum and charger. So I need some confirmation that this key do NOT work for the customer's charger.

my pics below is the key the customer brought in. I told the customer right-off that its not the key bc someone went through this problem awhile back w/ the magnum or so on this forum. I told him to exchange it for the tan one,the latest sentry key for dodge(05+), but the SELLER insisted that it works. I gave him the benefit of a doubt and tested/program again for the second time and still NO GO.

My pictures: note the programming paper says 98+. thats enough evident to say that it does NOT work.

That's definitely the correct key. 692352.

That's the exact key we use for all the new-style Chrysers, including:

04-up Durango
05-up Grand Cherokee
300, Magnum, Charger

The letter S on the blade indicates it's the newer style Sentry Key.

from what I can tell, looks like the tan is what you need.

are you sure about this?

have you actually tried to use it on the magnum or charger?

The programming instruction came w/ the key was that i followed and I confirmed it w/ bypasskit keyless bypass module's instruction....

hwo did you program yours?

i believe the part number for tan and gray is the same as someone mention about this problem awhile back. I cant seem to find that thread again.

I just talked to strattec CS and they said that I need the tan/light brown one.

The CS said that there might be a confusion w/ the part number bc the other sentry key is gray head w/ strattec part #692325 and it covers a lot of OE part#.

Below is the link to the catalog. Although the key marked "s" like in the catalog, it still doesnt convince me.

69354 is not even the transponder nor it is the right groove.

692325 84-groove - this key covers a whole bunch of Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep's vehicles thats from 98-04.

692352 84-groove - this key covers only several cars, and I suspect it only covers the newer chrysler and dodge from 05+.

Hey sorry I wasn't here sooner.

Where I work, all we have, for any new-style Chrysler, is the 692352, as shown in the picture above.

Have you already installed a DEI 555C?

Put the 692352 in a bypass box, install the remote starter and the bypass.........then pretend you're programming a 555C.

Or the car's owner's manual also gives the same instructions.

TIP: It would be wise to first try the remote starter, with the bypass disconnected, and one of the original keys halfway in the ignition. (Not all the way----not enough to trigger the doorchime.)

If the remote start doesn't work, it is not yet correctly installed, and you won't be able to program the third key.

I have no trouble of getting into programming mode for burning that 3rd key but I have tried so many times like you described.

RS is working fine.

Chris, can I purchase the key from you?

btw, thanks for your reply.
