I am not familiar with that system, but is there any chance the valet button is stuck pushed in?

First, you need to find out whether it is in valet mode or home valet mode. When you attempt to remote start the next time, watch parking lights flash rate. If it is1 long 2 short, then it is remote / ignition valet mode. If it is 2 short pause 2 short, then it is home valet mode. If it is the latter, you can disable it in the Mode 3, Function 1 Option 2. If it still acts up, I would suggest to take it back for an exchange.
