I have read all of the posts on this vehicle and the factory starter kill issue is still unclear to me.

This is where the information is not entirely clear:

PURPLE / Green (+) at the Fuse box can be used to bypass the starter kill. Is this the starter side of the starter kill relay?

PURPLE / Blue (-) in the drivers kick. Is this a disarm wire or how should it be used to bypass the starter kill?

There is a lot of talk about this starter kill relay, but no one appears to have a sure solution. I would think the best way to bypass it is to hook up to the starter side of the kill relay which you would think would be prety easy after running all of those wires into the engine compartment.

Then comes the issue of the locks and the factory alarm: If I bypass the starter kill relay entirely, then I shouldn't have to worry about the locks setting the factory starter kill, right?

What about if there is a factory alarm. will remote starting trigger the alarm? if so do i need to unlock before start and lock after start? If so, will the doors Lock with the ignition on? I have heard the doors will not lock with the ignition on.

Thanks guys
