the GMBP is the passlock system that i am using
it has been programed an programs fine...I just wired it in using the databus 2nd one the purple....

my trouble that i am having is that when i go to Remote start the truck... it does nothing.. the ignition does not power up...the GMBP does nothing (led does not light up)

i have gone over an over..etc my wiring an everything looks at test good...

checked all of my concetions..
discontected the hood pin.. and the brake light
and discontected the four pin harness

and still no ignition...

please does anyone have an idea... or is anyone familair with Code Alarm ? ?

Do you have the "control switch" in the correct position?

The BLACK/ white wire on this switch needs to see ground for the remote start to work.

Hook all that stuff up that you disconnected, then check the switch.

Neutral safety wire still needs to be grounded for remote start to work. Most vehicles have that built into transmission anyway.

The wire I'm test'n isn't doin' what it's supposed to be doin'... I am so glad I printed that tech sheet, with the wrong info.
Do it right the first time... or I might have to fix it for ya

the neutral safety wire, is used on car that can start in gear and must be wired to the gear box wire, that shows only (-) ground when in P or N. since ur car is an 03, that wire is not required to be connected. Your car should not start if in gear, so simply ground that wire and ur car will start everytime.

take the neutral safety wire and connect it straight to ground.

the cause for it was.. that the amdl was also trying to bypass the passkey... so i removed the gmbp an everything is good....

i didnt realize that the kx01a was also doing the passkey
