Hello to everyone. I need to know if anyone has or knows where i can download a wiring diagram for a 1989 Nissan Sentra. Basicly i need the headlamp circuit. Any information would be a great help. Thanks for your time, rak1957a

I'm not sure what you're trying to do, but since you have a Nissan, you may have ground-switched headlights. You can probably go to the parts store and look up your schematic in one of their repair manuals, or just pick one up for around $15. You may not need one. Use a multimeter, and check for voltage at your headlights with the headlights off. If you have voltage with the headlights off, you then you have ground-switched headlights. The headlights have constant power and the switch merely supplies a ground path. If not, then you're headlights are positive-switched. Using a multimeter, you can find the functions of each wire at the multifunction switch. I hope this helps.
