I was talking with one of my friends, and the thought came up that shaved handles are illegal, we live in B.C. Canada. Can anyone validate or dismiss this?
Thanks for any and all info!

I can understand that. what kind of penalties are there?
Yes, it is 100% illegal to have shaved handles in BC. That is UNLESS you have also wired a manual release that is accessable from the outside. IE: a cable pull attached to the door handle on the inside and wired into the front inner fender area. As far as a fine goes, my guess without looking at the Provincial MVA, would be a $173 fine + a VI, + a possible impound and tow charge. So, if you are going to do this, go to the local RCMP detachment or Motor Vehicle Inspection Facility. ( there is usually a Inspector found at weigh scales as well).
PS, I am in BC. (soon to be RCMP as well, I hope).

Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.
Look at Rob getting all Legal and shhh on us already. Its a shame when people turn on their roots. Next he is gonna be enforcing the local sound violation laws. What a shame.

People just seem to change when they are exposed to the law. The worst comes out. Just kidding.
