alrighty to put it simple/quick, my uncle went to prison but b4 he went he took a loan out against his t-bird, so we are going to pay the loan $1000 about, to get the car, its also sitting at 109,000 miles with a rebuilt tranny, so as u can tell its easily worth 1k, specially since theres no rust and the insides still nice to

it has a few problems though, leaks oil, but we may know where its coming from and are putting it on ramps to check it out in a few mins, and the front end shakes UNBEARABLY when u go fast/and is worse when u hit the brakes, my friend thinks its the rotars that need to be replaced, but my moms bf thinks the whole front ends shot? anyone know what it could be????

im not a gear head, by far not, but im hoping its the rotars, thats the only bad thing about this car, that and its marked as a meth car... anyone else know of anything with t-birds front ends? my buddys gonna checker out tommorow too

alrighty, we dont think the trannys bad in the bird, but we believe the front rotars are warped, and it has the oil leak, since its been below freezing out here in minnesota, we havent been able to get under the car and do much to it

btw anyone out there wanna loan me $1100 so i can buy/fix this car lol

alrighty, trannys good, the oil leak was sad... the oil filter was loose, as in really lose, no idea why, but thats what was causing the leak. as for the shaking when u hit the brakes, we believe its a ball joint/something else, i cant remember, im not a mechanic, im a tech geek, gimme 2 yrs and ill know more, for those of you who dont know, im enlisted in the navy and im working with aviation, either gonna be a aviation technician, or deal with aviation electronics and computer systems, kinda kool ehh?

ok, well, the car drives fine/smooth, shifts fine, steerings a little harder than my old escorts, but it shakes like h*ll at 60 mph, and is worse if u touch the brakes, does anyone know if it could be the upper ball joints, or the if the rotors are warped, or something? it steers fine too

turns out the gasket adapter for the oil filter warped, which is why it was leaking, a good $9 to replace it, and the upper control arms/bearings were bad... all in all including mechanic bill, its about $200 for 2 new upper control arms, oil filter, oil filter gasket adapter, and labor
