hello iam trying to install a linear actuator to open close trunk do i need relay if using dpdt momentary switch and if so can anyone help me on how to wire up the two relays to the actuator thanks

switch is dpdt momentary on-off-on can i use for up and down

if you are using that switch, you would only need relays if the contacts in the switch are not rated high enough for the current that will be pulling through it. if they are, your good to go with just the switch.

the switch is rated 20a the actuator draw max5 cool thanks alot
