I successfuly finish installing 5704 in 06 f150 , the only problem is dome light, I read here that will need a relay to switch polarity can some one please post a diagram witch relay to use and how to connect

+12v output to dome light wire on f150
-trigger to viper dome light output
just to make shure dont want to fried anything

The orn/lt grn wire at the light switch is a (-) trigger wire to the instrument cluster that turns on the dome light blk/lt blu wire. While I don't see a relay in the diagrams, there must be one in the "instrument cluster". Never the less, putting the orn/ lt grn at the light switch to ground will turn on the dome lights.

I have successfully connected a DEI blk/wht dome light supervision wire directly to the orn/ lt grn in F250 super duty Ford trucks with no other relays or diodes. I don't know why the F150 wouldn't also work. The dome light switch in the dash works the same way, and has the same wire colors. The Super Duty has a dome lightrelay in the dash fuse panel. Not sure what the F150 has.
