i have a project car that im working on and i want to add push button switches for the windows and door locks. Can anyone tell me whats the proper way to wire and fuse the relays?

Try this:-
locks_and_windows.png

Please note this applies to ONE window, you will need two of these for two windows etc.
For the locks, above will suffice, join the motor wires.
Note, the higher fuse for 2 windows, the lower fuse for two locks.
Ground in the body, NOT the door.
Out of interest you'd be better off using a proprietary lock relay/timer such as SPAL or DAV or even complete kit, this gives you an option to lock/unlock from the driver's door.

SPAL or DAV for locks, SPAL also do window kits. Google them, they both have US distributors.

You need power on terminal 86 of both relays. Howie's picture is missing a red line.

well my car already have power windows so buying the i think will be a waste. i going with a custom door panel and i pretty much just want to change the switches to a more modern look
