First off, I am rather wet behind the ears when it comes to electronics but "I" can read pictures very well :)
I'm trying to add cornering lights to my 2006 GMC Sierra. I found the pulsed to steady relay diagram here and wired it up on the bench before getting out my soldering iron. I wired it exactly like pictured and couldn't get it to work. I'm using the 10K uf cap, 10K resistor and 1N4004 diodes.
I was using a 9V and a 5 diode LED with no luck. Thinking maybe I didn't have enough power I hooked it to 12V and still no luck.
Is it just because I'm using an LED? If you how do I do this.

Thanx JC

I have used that many times. It works. Are you using a 10.000 microfarad capacitor?

Can you hear the water dripping.
I'm not sure, the ones I have are aluminum radial. I can't seem to figure out exactly what a farad cap is looking at Digikey's site.

That is a 1000 microfarad capacitor. You would need to parallel 10 of those. You need a 10,000 microfarad device.
