o.k.  here is the deal, I am getting ready to install a carputer in my car.  I am planning on setting it up so that I can turn on/off the sub amp, lights, and if my funds allow/I can figure it out I would like to turn on and off the rear tv's.

I get all the parts I need from my buddy, and did a trial set up and it worked great with the sub amp and lights,  but when I threw a third relay in the mixed it got all messed up.  the relays go haywire, and just continually turn off and on.  I talked to my buddy and he had no idea.

would anyone happen to  have some insight on this.  any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Knowing specifics on wiring and components would probably be a help

if I understand you wish to
control Lamps, Horn, Central Lock, Windows and etc with you Laptop

If this is I can Help
this is simple
you must use paralel (printer port) on PC
there are a lot of sorce code for controling
in Tupbo Pascal (Delphi):
Port(0378) = 0; (this will turn all relays off, 255 all on)
pins 2 to 9 are outputs +5 Volts 0.1 Amper
There are inputs 4 I think.
schematik is :
paralel port -> resistor (500 Ohms) -> transistor -> relay -> Lamp
:)
