So my system has grown substantially, and here is my dilemma..
I want to keep my factory stereo, but I have at leat 7 components that need a remote lead. What is the best way of doing this...I'll list the components and some othe items that may be of use to solve this problem.
3 amps, 1 line driver, 1 cooling fan, 1 automatic fan control (stinger SFC), 1 digital temp gauge...ughhh and I think thats it :-)..
I will have a 4 post isolator ( if anyone knows what the fourth post is for that would be knowledgeable information.) its supposed to be a 2 battery iso..Anyway a second battery, and a capacitor. Also if it helps I have a stinger SR200 at my disposal.

Thank you for the diagram, just to be sure...I would only need 1 relay for all 7 components? And because I do not have a remote lead from my deck I could use my ignition lead instead? Or should I use a different source?
You could Bypass the Relay and hook a switch up instead.
As long as the switch is rated at a higher amp rating than all of the components combined. You could even get one of those with a light in it.
or
Use the switch to turn on the Relay . Hook one side to the ignition or hot and the other to one side of the Relay coil.

When in doubt, try it out !
I would use the relay and power it with the ignition lead. That sound like the best solution, this way you won't forget to turn the power on or off, and you won't risk burning up your switch.

Well by using the remote lead when the decks off no signal from that lead so shouldnt be stock on..,.
