I yanked out a flasher relay out of this old eagle talon I had laying around. I want to use this flasher relay to flash a light in my car. Now I got the bastard working, It's the typical 3 prong flasher. But it's flashing too  fast, Like when you have a dead signal light somewhere on your car and the flasher goes really fast to let you know you have a dead one. That's the type of flashing I'm getting. But this is not what I want. I want the slower flash that we're used too. Is there a technique or some weird way these are wired through the lights to make it flash differently when it's back in the car and all the lights aren't burnt??

You need to increase the resistance in your light bulb circuit, more bulbs or use a resistor.

Nice tagline... it didn't quote though.

You meant to say that he needs to decrease the resistance in the light bulb circuit.. right?..

Shoot, did it again.
Correct, decrease the resistance (increase the load).
