How can I wire up a flasher circuit to flash something with very low currnt, like a relay. I've wired up a flasher circuit before using a relay and a two prong electronic flasher, but I can only get it to work in a high current application like for flashing parking lights.

Could you explain this to me? And is this only for low voltage LED's or will this circuit trigger a 12v relay?

This diagram is confusing to me. I dont understand the symbols. And what does r1 and r2 and q1, q2 mean, or what do they represent. Could you explain this diagram
(translate it) for me?

A low tech low curent flasher is a blinker bulb from a string of Christmas lights in series with the relay.
