they need to handle about 3-4 amps each and a very fast coil
they need to be silent these (8 of them) will be turning on and off very fast for hours at a time which is why I need to find some that make no noise
I would guess that there is a electic version but I don't know where to get it
Thanks

You might have luck using a Triac.

You'll need to go with solid state relays.  They switch much quicker the electromagnetic relays, are silent, and don't wear out.

Do a search on www.digikey.com for solid state relay

You didn't give much information (coil voltage, load voltage) so it's hard to tell you much more.

When in doubt, try it out !

I do not know that much about relays
I just need a basic solid state relay
they need to handle at least
4amps or more output
12-14 volts input and output
less than a or about 1/2 amp to trigger it

4 pin-SPST I need 8 of these right away
and 5 pin-SPDT I will need these in the future
