Would anyone happen to know about specific wiring for the PRND (gear selector), like colors, where it goes and where it comes? I have an alarm installed and my gear selector isnt high lighting the correct gear its in.. I have a feeling the person who installed the alarm messed with an incorrect wire and now its messed up..

having an alarms put in shouldn't affect the instrument panel, but a remote starter may if second ignition or accessory isnt connected. here is the wiring diagram for your vehicle. hope it helps. www.commandocaralarms.com/wiring/1998-2003/Chevrolet/Blazer/231.html
