I installed a new Double Din Eclipse Nav unit in a 2005 Tacoma Crew Cab... Does anybody know where the speed wire is located inside the truck, and how would you test it if found?

Speed Sense

VIOLET/WHITE

(AC)

AT ECM MODULE BEHIND GLOVEBOX

Also found in harness going to instrument cluster.

It is a pulsating DC voltage, it will show up on your digital volt meter as an AC voltage. The faster you drive the truck the higher the voltage will read.
