I have a scytek 2000 remote start system for a 95 nissan altima. I am hooking it up and don't know what wire i need to hook up for the emergancy/parking brake wire. Have to have the parking brake wire hooked up for the remote start to work properly.  The parking brake wire is (-). does this mean that the parking brake wire will be grounded or read zero when the parking brake is pulled? I am new to this so feel free to rip on a newbie.

I have searched the interent all day today and have not found the answer for this, just a bunch of other old forum posts saying it is illegal to have a remote start in a manual transmission car. so i am posting here hoping someone can help.

You need to hook this wire to the emergency brake wire. The wire must see 12 volts when the park brake is NOT engaged and  ground when park brake is ON.
