hi, I have a 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP I bought last year, it always had problems with the fuel pump cutting out and stalling. I diagnosed as much as I could without completely tearing the car apart and I can't figure out whats out of place. As of now the entire circuit is a mess and I am running a rocker switch to control the pump. I know some basics of wiring, but I am so fed up with it I want to redo the entire circuit. Any suggestions would be great, and how do I figure out the correct resistor to use for the pump to run low speed?

I'd have to check, but shouldn't that pump be a single speed unit?

Also wont it get power during the prime cycle, I think that's what balprix meant.
