The notes on the door trigger is that you need to use the dome light wire BLACK/ blue pin 12 of the 20 pin plug at the FEM in the driver kickpanel. If you are getting falsing every 30 minutes you will need to use a relay off the dome light wire to trigger the alarm instead of the dome wire directly. You can follow directechs document 1504: https://www.directechs.com/tech_docs/Document5454-490.pdf

They also mention that the trunk trigger may cause falsing also and you will need to do the same thing for the trunk trigger to prevent falsing.

Also I would locate the door trigger relay you are going to use to the trunk. As the dome light fades out, it will cause a buzzing sound from the relay. Also the reason when you arm the car you are seeing a door open is because of the dome light delay. when you close the door on the LS the light stays on for about 30 seconds. since you are connected to this same wire the alarm thinks the doors are still open. depending on the alarm manufacture you are using there will be a way to either ignore the dome light delay or learn the delay. If you can't find out how to do it from the installers manual, maybe if you post the make and model of the system we can help you figure it out.

As for your check engine light that is caused by a ignition wire not being powered up or not being powered up properly. I see 4 wires that need to be powered. GREEN/ black as ignition and yellow, pink white and pinkyellow as accessories. That is accoreding to directeds. As per Bulldogsecurity.com it lists pink/white as a ignition not a accessory. So you need use a meter to determine which is correct, I would check all of them while you are at it, and duplicate it exactly with the remote starter.
