Hi, i just took out all the panels and head unit in my celica to install this aftermarket head unit and all the wires are color loved. they dont make any sense. i learned that there's two different stereo systems in celicas, ones with tweeters and ones without. i have the tweeters. ive looked all over these forums and the internet but cannot find what wire goes to what. i would have no problem with this if i had a flippin multimeter but i dont. i have a factory amp installed that i need to bypass, which shouldnt be a problem for me but i need to find where to hook up the 12v battery (red) 12v constant (yellow) ground (black) and remote (blue) from my headunit. i cant find this info anywhere. ive tried like everything. thank you :)

Buy the harness for the Toyota. This will make things go way smoother for you: Metra Electronics Corp. 70-8113

richl68, can you guarantee this information ? Without a DMM, damage to either the vehicle or the stereo equipment may occur. If you do not have a DMM, it's best to buy a DMM or the harness listed above.

The above information is from Directechs, as any wiring information its up to the actual installer to confrim with a dmm that the wiring colors that were supplied are the correct ones.  I just posted to help get a general idea of wiring info.

If you have any type of store near you like a Harbor Freight they sell cheapo dmm for 1.99$ im sure they are good enough to read 12v signals
