I am installing a driving monitor device (Tripmaster FM200 plus) and need to know where can I get the speed signal from. I have checked this page and found one suggestion (https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/forum_posts.asp~TID~111359~PN~25) which unfortunately did not work. Any ideas out there? Thanks in advance.

Probably a CAN system now unless it's hard wiring to the back of the speedo, you will need a CAN adaptor.

The speed sensor is usually in the gearbox, you're looking for a 3 wire plug coming from the gearbox, but I'll show you some mercy although if you have to ask about CAN systems you shouldn't be doing this. Look for a blue/black wire either entering the instrument panel (rear of) or a nearby BCM box. Don't you dare ask me what that is.
