I installed the Flash Logic Remote Starter on my 2002 GMC truck. It starts up but then shuts down. Only starts up for a second. Anyone with any ideas would be appreciated!

Does it start and actually run for a second or just turn over?
If it's the first case you haven't done tach right, if it's the second you haven't done the by-pass correctly. To check the second, leave the ignition in the cylinder and try again.
Also make sure the wiring is correct.

No, it actually starts up for only a second and then shuts down. I've read about doing the tach but no where is there really any instructions. So I'm still not sure what it is that I am needing to do differently. I was thinking that I needed an extra part or something due to a possible anti theft on my vehicle. I actually had this automatic starter installed on my 2004 Chevy but I took it off myself because I was selling that truck and wanted to keep the automatic starter for my other truck, the 02 GMC. With it being so close to the holidays the place couldn't get me in quick enough so I had no choice but to do it myself. Now I'm stuck.

Most 2002 GMC pick up trucks did not have immobilizers in them so I don't think it's bypass. Try getting model info for me and I'll see if I can cross reference a manual to help out with tach learning.

The # that it has on the remote starter is PRO9276A, then it has a different number of 200419. It is the FLCAN32 version 123. That's about all I can give you. Thanks for anything and everything!

Couldn't find one for the exact model you have, but according to Audiovox an APS687A manual is one in the same.

Look at page number 11 for tach sensor input information and also page number 17 to make sure you're programming tach timing correctly.
