Where can I find a stereo wire diagram for a '96 Subaru Legacy Outback?

If anyone could please help me find the wire colors and their functions.

I would be most thankful.

Thanks!!

Thanks for the help, but I looked at the wires at the end of the plug( that was attached to the factory stereo) and some of those colors of wire don't match the ones in the diagram like the Costant 12V+ wire.  So would my best bet be to use a circuit test and systematically test wires for  voltage.  Or should I keep looking online for a diagram that fits this exact Subaru

Email me and I'll send you a wiring diagram. I'm not sure if it's the same but it's something that you can compare.

If you still have the factory plugs intact I highly recommend using a wiring harness instead of cutting the plugs off.  It'll save you time and make for a much cleaner install, and prevents you from having to figure out all the colors and stuff. The one you'll need to get is the Metra 70-8901 or equivalent.
