Is this the Mk ll or Mk lll, shape?

Assuming this is for an alarm, from memory:-
Remove top of dashboard, remove both "A" pillar side trims and then prise off dashboard top.
Top left is a module with various plugs.
These will give you lock and unlock (neg pulse) 2 or 4 door triggers, trunk (rear hatch) and possibly hood (bonnet) trigger. They have to be back dioded (look up Ford 1076 in the down loads on this site) then dioded together.
Also indicators, constant 12Volts and ignition. Remote start functions are controlled from the ignition switch loom via a 556UW, wired as European.

You got to be kidding! 12volt snap-on test light, best for this job. The bulb in it will trigger the locks.
Do what I did all three times I've done alarms on this baby, TEST
On a more serious note, nearside engine bay, there should be a grommet to bring in the siren and bonnet switch (unless the bonnet trigger is on the BCM module, test).
Apart from the siren and if needed, remote start, the whole job is done by sitting in the passenger seat, no bending down or praying at the dashboard. posted_image
