I am having a heck of a time finding the right wire harness for my car.  I have a 2003 Ford Focus ZX5 with the 6 disc in dash cd changer.  I have purchased several harnesses and none have fit this car.  I am including a picture of the plugs on the back of the radio in hopes someone knows what this needs.  Thank you everyone.

I actually bought those but the tabs that come off the stock plugs don't fit.  Do I need to remove them?

Shouldn't, I've used the UK version (looks the same of course) literally
100s of times over the last 20 years.
They are all made by, Amp/Tycho, Molex or Kramm.

The Metra picture again at first glance looks like the reverse or female, i.e. the car side.
OK, think I have the answer, just played with both ends from my bits box and they fitted together fine.
I have one end probably from a Bluetooth kit adaptor that looks suspiciously like your photo and I just plugged the standard head unit adaptors in with no problems.
Meanwhile there were two power plugs but they looked similar, 7 0f 9 (Star Trek?) and 8 of 9 pins fitted the later version had 2 grounds.
For your interest these are the pin-outs going left to right starting with the top, black power plug:-
Antenna rem +
Gnd.
Mute???
Illumination
ACC
Gnd.
12V+ constant.
Lower yellow speaker plug:-
Front left +
Ditto -
Rear left +
Ditto -
Front right +
Ditto -
Rear right +
ditto -.
If you PM me with your email address I'll send you the photos.

I did some digging and found that the part I got is part number FD5940, I checked into the 70-1770
and found it also has a part number of FD5000, So I am thinking I got the wrong harness.  Thanks everyone for your help

I think the only difference is that one has two grounds and the other one. It makes no difference.

The loom shown is a Japanese car radio to Euro ISO plugs for an aftermarket car radio, it certainly isn't OEM especially with that Scotchlok on it.
Most of the connectors are made by AMP-Tycho, Molex or Lucas.

I am having this exact same problem. What's the part # of the harness required to fit that? Please and thank you

That's not the correct harness. Ill post two pictures just like the previous gentlemen. People seem to seem to find this very difficult to understand. That harness does not fit on the plugs from the car. Somebody please help. Thanks

Metra 70-1777

Metra lists this as the harness that plugs into the oem radio. That is wrong, 71s plug into radios and the 70s are the ones that plug into the oem harnesses.

You've gone through all this trouble showing photos and telling us they don't fit.
As someone who's installed literally hundreds of UK Fords using these plugs including factory amplified units I can assure you they ALL fit and are interchangeable.
