I have a New Hornet 564t that I've had sitting around. I'm looking at installing it in my Nissan NV work van. I found a wiring diagram on Bulldogs site. It states that the factory alarm needs a double pulse to disarm it.
Will the Hornet work with it?

Also I'm not finding good info on the bypass module. What do I need to make this or any unit to work with this van?

Does your NV have a factory alarm?

iDatalink bypass info:

Thanks, No not that I'm aware of. It has aftermarket door locks with a simple Automate AM2 keyless entry that was dealer installed.

If no factory alarm, you need not worry about the double pulse.

Thanks smokeman1 for the link to the idatalink module. That looks like the ticket. In their wiring diagram it shows a 4 wire vehicles "Immobilizer connector" plug that I wire to.
Is it showing me the plug from the wires 1-4 coming out side towards me or the open plug side?

There are usually shown from the wire side. Sometimes there might be numbers on one side or the other or both. Sometimes you have to go with wire color/position.

A couple more questions please,
I can't fing the immobilizer plug under the dash near the switch. I looked at the window sticker and found that it states that it is a 2012 not a 2013. Idatalink does not list this year.
Is it posible that i don't have one? I do see 2 small wires going to the front of the key area.
What happens if I try to remote start it without anything? Will I lock up the CPU or something?
Thanks

Try looking at the Fortin site. Their diagram might help you.

Fortin site does list this Van from 2011-2013. They list there EVO-ALL work with it. So I ordered one of these for my 2012. I tried posting on Idatalinks forum asking if their bypass would work with my year vehicle. They did not let it post. Pretty sad as it was just a simple question.
Hopefully I'm able to sell the new ADS-AL-CA with a USB programer on ebay or something.

The ads-al(tb) should work for your vehicle. iDatalink does list the 2012 year model. Your EVO-ALL needs to be flashed with 4.07 firmware or better.

Ah okay.
I ordered a Compustar 1WAS-S and a EVO-ALL for this now. On fortins site it states that is sees the tach through the bus wires as I read it. Do I still need to find the trucks tack wire. I'm looking to wire it D2D if I get the right cables with it. The guy that I ordered it from said that I still need to find the trucks tach wire. Is that right? I thought that I don't need to wire the dashed wires if I'm D2D?
Thanks!

Won't know on the Tach until you try. Some modules do the Tach and some don't. I used a DB-ALL on a Jeep a couple of weeks ago and had to do the tach via a wire to the fuel injector.

If remember right the Dodge Town & Country I did, the Tach was through the bypass. So sometimes yes, sometimes no.

Oh Update. As it turns out my 2012 NV2500 did not need a bypass at all.

Depends on the trim level. The base model vans did not use an immobilizer. Easiest way to check is to remove the trim ring around the lock cylinder. If it doesn't have a black ring behind it then no immobilizer.
