Hi all, I have the 2L Diesel Santa Fe 2005. When I de-activate the factory alarm with the key fob, the turn signal lights flash twice and should go off. The right hand side lights stay on!.
(Drivers side, I'm in Ireland)
From reading extensively on the net, I think it may be a sticking relay in the ETACS module. Anyone have/fix this problem?

Disconnect the battery for 20 minutes it might work.
Sticky relays used to be a problem with Scorpion alarms back in the 90s.
BTW, are you sure the alarm is factory and not a dealer add on by say Cobra using the factory remote?

Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first. I am not a free install service.
Read the installation manual, do a search here or online for your vehicle wiring before posting.

Thanks for the quick reply. it is using the standard hyundai key fob. Also I see no evidence of a non-factory alarm, so I am reasonably sure it is the factory unit. I will have to get the multimeter out and see which signals are still high when the lights are left on. I think I saw a diagram of the wires and colours on here.

Appreciate the effort. Cheers
