Can someone help me with installing my remote start (Viper 5806V). I have most of the connections figured out but would like someone to help me with connecting the stater wires. I have been using the quick install guide (figure 1) for reference. The only install manual I could find on the web from (Viper) is a 5901 manual. In it, it says to cut a wire for the Starter Input (Figure 2). I think I have this correct. Please verify or tell me the right way and why if I'm wrong. The - 200mA Starter output wire I have is for grounding the relay upon starting because I have a manual trans (in place of the clutch switch).

I am also having difficulty finding how to connect the - 200mA Trunk release output because my trunk opener solenoid has a constant ground. Use a relay?

Also Im not sure what to do with H3/5 + Fused 12V Ignition 1 Input and H2/11 Activation Input.

And Lastly does the rest look good? Any advice is highly appreciated.

If you want to use the starter kill (I'd use it), cut the starter wire in the ignition harness, and connect the side that goes to the key to the green starter wire. The car side goes to purple (violet).

If you aren't using starter kill, don't cut the starter wire in the ignition harness, just connect the purple (violet) wire to it.

Alldata is handy, but readyremote and bulldogsecurity have online wiring information available that is free (don't require a login), and geared towards alarms/remote start installs:

https://readyremote.com/main.asp?action=select&yr=10511&product=Remote%20Start&make=Acura&model=TSX

https://www.bulldogsecurity.com/bdnew/vehiclewiringdiagrams.aspx

Trunk release (negative trigger) should be a blue wire at the left side of the dash fuse box. Click "photo" button on the readyremote page. If this wire tests correctly, it will connect directly to your RED / white trunk release wire.
