I'm looking for a wiring diagram for my Viper 4105v remote start system. I ordered it off of Amazon and it came with no install instructions. I am very capable of wiring it in, but I just need a good diagram. It is going on a 1993 Chevrolet truck. Any help is appreciated!

It comes with a quick reference diagram with just the basic information needed. Dei(Viper) does this because it is meant for professional installation.

This is a easy truck to install. I did my 92 Chevy truck. Use your DMM to test and verify the wires.
You might need to follow DEI Tech Tip 1008 so that the truck does not start when in drive or reverse. Also found in a zip file under DEI tech tips.

You have to WAIT for the post to appear, Brownsfan... Don't keep hitting "post".

Smokeman:

For the early EFI GM's that don't have neutral safety switches in the starter wire, I've been using the orn/blk wire at the back up light switch for neutral safety. Connect the Viper's blk/wht to it. The orn/blk is (-) in P or N, and is an input to the ECM mostly for idle control. Not all engines and PCM's use this circuit, so not all will have this wire. BUT. The column mounted switch often has the terminals, even if there aren't any wires on them. Look for the blu and lt grn wires that are the back up lights, and that's the switch.

Congratulations on your promotion to Platinum. Your stuff deserves it.

Sorry. My connection kept timing out and I didn't know it was posted.
