I'm looking for wiring information on 2006 ford expedition so that I can add heated mirrors. Does anyone have information for that specific year? Thank You

See if this helps!
06 Heated Mirrors.pdf

If heated mirrors were offered on your truck, you just need to plug in the new mirrors.
If the wires aren't there already if you have rear defrost. You will have to run 16 awg wire from 10-amp fuse #8 to each mirror, plus the ground wire of course. See the attached PDF for how it's supposed to be wired.
If you have 99-04 when heated mirrors were not offered you will need to make a new connection for the heat feature. You can just wire it to an "accessory on" wire, as that is how Ford has it wired.

The connector from the mirror has 4 wires two for the mirror motor and two for the puddle lamp. However the other side of the connector has several wires on it that aren't connected to anything on the mirror side. Any chance for a diagram that shows what those wires would go to?

Use a DMM set to DC with 1 probe to ground and test the unconnected wires for (+) feeds, and DMM set to continuity for grounds, to determine there function as they will be the options you original mirrors didn't have like blinker and heated mirrors. If the new mirrors have the same plug then it will be plug and play.

That thought helped sort it out. The option was available in 2006 I just didn't have a model it was installed on. Thought perhaps the wiring was in the harness and it was. Verified pin 1 was hot when the rear defrost turned on and went to zero when it was off. Also verified that pin 9 was the ground. Thanks again I'm on my way to wrapping up this project!
