Hi, if anyone has any info on wiring colours and location for particular model, please share information. Mainly looking for wires for installing alarm, need tacho wire etc... Thanks in advance!

On VW diesels use a DB-ALL 2 with the Golf software for that year, I can tell you from experience that's the only way you'll get tach on a VW diesel.
