looking for install/owners manual for an oldie. any good sources? really hard to find stuff on this older stuff. help appretiated

You can try DEI site. They should have it on there site for both install and owners manual. FYI- DEI owns all of clifford alarms. www.directed.com

ya tried it, even e-mailed tech on it but just told"too old" and that it might match an old clifford model, but not which model. dead ended.

I don't have anything for the old Hurricane but I have one for Hurricane2. Maybe the wires might be somewhat the same on it. If you need it then here is a link. https://members.cox.net/boone_mm/hurricane2.pdf Hope this help.

ya, the wires are the same, i have one the other day, just follow the huricane2 book, wires are exact

tried hurricane2 stuff but different number wire on main plug, buddy didn't label like asked when removed from old car. do the wire colours stay the same from unit to unit? red-power ect?

I deal alot with alarms and the avital were pretty much the same for all brands until DEI bought Clifford and gave it a complete makeover.

tried lots of avital stuff from dei but none of plugs seemed close. plugs aside, do the wire colour functions the same gray-door, green-interior lights ect? or can anyone tell me what clifford model it would match-checked lots of those install manuals as well
