Hi, haven't posted any new threads in a while,

Got a 2003 Hyundai Accent with power locks/windows/AC. Installed a PolarStart 2905 Remote Start/Keyless. Used Autostart's wire info.

Now i have a check engine light when using the key or the remote start. No idea what may have caused, checked all connections, flawless, all soldered and taped to death. Tried tach in all locations listed, all 1cyl. underhood, would not work so grabbed grey 4 cyl. wire behind gauges. Works great with that tach.

Advised customer to take it to Hyundai service dept. so that they may be able to investigate the issue, or at least plug in an OBD2 tester and pull a code.

If anybody has any ideas, reply to this post, i appreciate any info you might have to provide.

go at hyundai dealer for clear the code of engine light maybe have a trouble with engine not from remote start. i'm work for hyundai dealer and only way clear code is obdII computer.Where do you live ? if in quebec city send me a email and check for you the code

i am in ontario.... , customer will be comming in on monday (service closed for weekend) i will get the code/diagnosis and message back, if it's common sense i might not.
