Where do I get a good tach signal? I want to keep the oe remotes, where do I hook the activation wire so it will start after a few pulses from my oe remote? Never done one of these. I own a repair shop .

NOTES:
*1 - The driver door trigger is gray/black at the driver door module in the door. The RF door trigger is BLACK/ white at the passenger door module in the door. The LR door trigger is lt. blue/black and the RR is lt. GREEN/ black, they are in a harness in front of the fusebox leading to the BCM rear plug. Use all four wires and diode isolate each.
*2 - If the vehicle does NOT have a switch on the right rear panel then refer to the diagram.
*3 - If the vehicle does have a switch on the right rear panel then refer to diagram 2.
*4 - The BCM (Body Control Module) is under the driver side dash.
*5 - At the BCM in the purple plug, look at row B, cavity two and three should be open with not wires in then. If you make connectors for these pins you can connect them as a( TYPE B ) door locking system.
I just finished an install using oe remotes on a 2003 sierra with the data type doorlocks. I used the white wire at the instrument clister plug it is easy to get the cluster out and I don't like the idea of messing with the injector wires. The starter sensed this wire fine. To get a neg pulse to activate your starter take off the driver door panel, the grey wire in the black plug at your switches will give a neg pulse when you lock the doors. You only get the pulse right at the black connector it changes by the time it gets to the fuse box plug so you have to fish the activation wire into the door. It all works great. Good Luck any other ? email me while its all fresh in my mind.
I got the starter in and working. I picked up the negative pulse coming from the BCM to he door locks to activate it. I had it hooked up right all along, I just tried to cheat and use taps in some places and they weren't puncturing that cheap light gauge wire that automakers are so fond of now days.
Thanks
