I am having trouble installing an aftermarket Audiovox ACD17 CD player in a 2003 Chevy Express Van that had a factory stereo without a cassette or CD player. I can find the power from battery wire in the factory harness, but I cannot locate the ACC power wire that should be hot when the key is on. Is there something I do not understand or is there an issue with the wiring? The old stereo worked fine and the new Audiovox works if I connect both the constant power and ACC wires from the new unit to the only power wire I have been able to locate. Someone please tell me something I don't know or tell me where I can find the factory wiring diagram.

That is a DATA Type Radio
U have to run your own Ignition Wire
R U using Adapter Kit Plug?

I am not using an adapter. I am connecting wires from the new unit to the factory wires. Do you know where I can get a wiring diagram for this vehicle?

There is no accessory power (key on power) at the radio plug. Factory radio is turned on and off via a data signal from the BCM. You can use a radio replacement and chime retention module available from PAC or Soundgate or others. Or you can just get switched power from the ignition harness (by the key or fuse box) if you don't care about losing warning chimes such as lights left on, key in ignition, seat belt warning, etc.
