Guy at the shop bought a used Expedition and he don't know the code for the door unlock for the keypad under the door handle..and the dealer wants $100 to recode it.. Was wondering if anyone knew a way to recode the keypad and help him save a little money..   It's a 99 model..

This dealer is an ass ...

check under the dash look for a black box high in underdash (close to where wiil be a clutch if manual )

a number of 5 digit is written on it (a lot of stuff written on it but look for the bigger characters)

try it !!!! enjoy

tell us if it will work
