Notes:
NOTE: This vehicle has the passlock II immobilizer system that, when adding a remote start, must be interfaced with.   *1 The BCM is located to the right of the accelerator pedal below the radio.  The plugs on the BCM face towards the drivers side.   *2 Use tan for the drivers door located in pin B4 of the purple plug, orange for the passenger door located in pin B2 of the purple plug, and dk. blue/white for the rear doors and rear hatch located in pin B11 of the lt. blue plug, must diode isolate these wires.  *3 The PCM is located on the passenger fender. On the 2.2L the wire is in a black 80 pin plug pin 10, and on the 4.3L the wire is in a red 32 pin plug pin 20.  *4 This wire will not test when using the headlight switch. This wire is triggered by the DRL system. To meter the wire, start the car with the parking brake set, when the brake is released this wire will go to ground.

Door Locks use a (+) type B system. If your remote starter has alternating polarity door lock wires then attach without relays. If you only have (-) trigger system on the RS unit then you will need to install relays to reverse the polarity. Go here https://www.velocitymotorsport.com/install_notes/Converting_Outputs.jpg and wire up a relay like the NEGATIVE INPUT----->POSITIVE OUTPUT.

Some people call the ACC a 3rd ignition but it is not and it is. Depends who you talk to. All you need to do is power up the second ignition and use the ACC output of the RS unit and attach it to the ORANGE wire on the car.

BROWN wire powers up the wipers and radio, not necessary for RS operation

well thanks alot then. Also have you installed a remote start from crimestopper. If so are they good as far as not giving much trouble. Also what can I use to splice into the wires. It is hard to solder some of those wires

Not hard if you have the right tools for the job. Don't use t-taps as this person found out the hardway: Ungo MS20007/1997 chvy1500 slvrdo Use solder and you won't have any problems with the install after the fact.

Sorry, don't deal with Crimestopper. Another useful tools you may want to invest in is a set of automatic wire strippers & side cutters. This will decrease the install time considerably.
