I am looking for the VSS wire for a 2001 BMW 325i.  I have searched on direct techs, and it says it is the (BLACK/ white wire on the 10 plug radio harness)  I looked at the wires in the 10 pin harness, and there is NO BLACK/ white wire.  This car does not have the harmon cardon system installed it it.

Can someone help me out here. Is there another place where i can look for this wire? And how exactly do you test for a VSS wire?

thanks in advance

Hi Jimmy 2times. Vss (vehicle speed sensor) located in the transmission ,start from there you will find the wire.you also need a volt meter to check the resistance (ohm) of it.
