Hello,
I have a CD,Cassette,Radio from a 2001 Alero (I think) and I am trying to identify the wires. (I would like to install this in a travel trailer). I believe I have identified most of the wires correctly using my GM shop manuals for my 1996 pick-up but there are a few that I can not identify.
Following is what I have come up with so far:
Left front speaker = Tan & Gray
Right front speaker = Lt Green & Dk Green
Left rear speaker = Brown & Yellow
Right rear speaker = Dk Blue & Lt Blue
Ground = Black
Gray = Instrument panel lamp feed
Orange = Fuse out Battery (Hot at all times)
So I am left with a Dk Green, two purple wires, a brown wire and a Black wire with a white stripe.
The one I really need to know about is the wire that is hot when the ignition is in the accessory or the run position. The diagram from this website indicates that this should be a yellow wire, but as the pics show I have no yellow wire?
Would very much appreciate any help identifying these remaining wires.
Also I have been searching around on the "net" for info (unsuccessful) but I have come across bits and pieces of info that suggest this stereo my need to communicate with the BCM module in order to operate at all, if this is the case I am out of luck as I wanted to install this in a trailer. Any truth to this?
Apreciate any help

Hey, thanks for the reply but it really doesn't help me a whole lot. Need a little more detail please.
