The IP-BUs could be damaged if hooked wrong?

I have a AVH-P5700dvd that don't connects to the cd-changer and ipod adapter cd-ib100II. I tested the changer with a avh-P6400 and it's working so i'm assuming the 5700dvd IP-Bus could be bad...

any suggestions?

Did you turn the IP Bus on in the menu on the deck? If not start there, if you did then the input is damaged and would need to be serviced by a tech

I verify that, but the only options to turn on it gaves me is the AUX In and M-DVD. I turned them on and nothing, also I gave the unit a reset, I think the IP-Bus is bad.

Thanks for your help!
