My AVIC-D1 touchscreen is not working. I bought a brand new touchscreen sensor and it is still not recognizing it at all. I have tried to calibrate it as well.

Was the original touchscreen not working at all, or was it just not accurate? If the original one was just not accurate and the new one does not work at all, there has to be a problem with the ribbon cable connection.

Ya the original one did not work either. I tried to do the calibration but it says "Invalid by the outside of a permissible value"

Also when I try to trace the white line I can barely see it around the edge.

I have no idea what your problem could be.  I have replaced several touch screens on that unit and have never had a problem.  However the only ones i have ever seen worked, they were just not accurate.

You changed your touchscreen and it does not work?   Or did it quit working and you need to change it?
