I was wondering if anyone knows how to modify Power Acoustik's PTID-7350nrbt touch screen's operating system that (I think) is running a version of Windows CE and to customize it to look nicer. I just want to redesign the look and feel of the UI so it is somewhat decent. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks for your time.

Well basically I wanted to take the crude and ugly UI that I am stuck with and then just replace the graphics so that it looks decent. Instead of having THIS , you end up with an alternate color scheme or something like THIS or something just nicer. Unfortunately I contacted Power Acoustik and they told me that it is WinCE based and said they do not know how to modify the appearance.

Ha!

Well surely they know what they send to WinCE?

And surely they know if they are running some x86 platform etc for the display?

You would then have to investigate WinCE etc (visual basic? probably not KDE lol posted_image).

Whilst I have little doubt they do not know how to modify the appearance (even though they must have spec'd it to someone - unless WinCE knows how to display "data"), they surely know what they put out and where to?
