Im having trouble locating the VSS WIRE for this car. I have the Bose stereo that i replaced with a AVN 6620. I used installogy, and directechs and they told me that it was behind the dash in the radio harnes LT blue(wire doesnt exist in my car), and also said it was pin 6 LT Blue, behind the gauge cluster. which is the wire i tapped into, and that That wire also did not work. Does anyone know the correct VSS wire/location for this car? Any help is apprecaited thanks! My AVN 6620 just sits on studsying pulse. Or maybe i have the right wire and i need to calibrate the GPS? The gps does NOT tell me how fast i am moving, so im assuming that the VSS is wrong.

I've done a few of these, pin 6 in the cluster is the corect place. Most Pathfinders don't have a wire in pin 6 and i have to strip a piece of wire back and shove it in the hole to touch the pin inside. Works every time...

EDITED. Please make sure you read the last line of this post. Audiovox has the following as a note for your vehicle. They do not give any info on a wheel sensor wire. THE VEHICLE SPEED SIGNAL IS SENT THROUGH A DATABUS LINE - YOU MUST USE A WHEEL SPEED SENSOR WIRE. Each wheel should have a wheel sensor. It is used by the Anti-Lock Brake system. You may want to jack the vehicle up and remove a wheel. There should not be many wires going to the hub assembly. There may be 2 wires going to the sensor. Following is a picture of the speed sensor for that vehicle. https://www.am-autoparts.com/AM/Sensors/Nissan/Pathfinder/-/AM-38684546/?utm_medium=shoppingengine&utm_source=ShopComSF According to info on the Frontier truck, that wire in pin 6 is only 8 pulses per mile. I think that is a very low number of pulses. It may take the unit a few miles to learn that.

Man that just can't be right! There has to be more than 8 a mile....

I AM AN IDIOT is right there is no VSS wire in that cluster the VSS signal is multiplexed into the CAN/LAN data bus lines. I looked up some factory diagrams from nissan and they do not give any ABS sensor info in there either. Best bet is to TRY to tap into the wheel sensor wire but keep in mind that signal is an A/C pulse not a square wave pulse necc to be read by your Nav unit!
