I am wondering if I can unplug all clips from amp in 1992 Lincoln Town Car. This will enable me to use existing speaker wires without using amp. There are two clusters, one showing all speaker wires and power lines, and one that is in a grey cord. Which ones can I use to keep my Kenwood head unit play directly from it not amp . Amp seems too rob power and punch from my 1200 watt bass amp. Before this set up I hade a 22x4 watt receiver direct wired to power my amp and subs. I had to keep everything at half gain on all my knobs. Now I have a Kenwood 50 x4 unit and same sub amp, with brandnew Kicker 10inch woofer, and all my nobs are at full open gain and it isn't even close to the sound bump that I was getting with mickeymouse set up.

Your 50x4 Kenwood deck puts out no more power than the one you removed.

Look into a Metra 70-5514 ford amp bypass harness.
