Early this year Audiovox released the AVDBR1 to the car audio/video realm. The first in-dash or under the seat blu-ray player made for automobiles. I checked out the features and was lovin' the HDMI and composite video ouputs. I have been waiting for blu-ray technology to go mobile for some time and I do desire to install this baby into my ride. But I'm havin a hard time finding a headrest or overhead moniter with HDMI inputs to accompany this unit. Of course, I can use standard RCA cables, but I want Hi-def. And also wondering which source unit will be a best match. Can anyone help me out?

There's no manufacturer yet out that makes 1080p in car screens. IMO, there's no real need for it since the screen is only 7-8" max unless your wanting to go with overhead monitors. Any converters out there that will output to component video from HDMI will degrade the picture quality down to 480p and at this point wouldn't even be worth going Blueray.
I've thought about this too for the car audio realm, but since the screen sizes are so small, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between 480, 720 or 1080.
