I have a Gentex GNTX-221 mirror from a Lincoln Continental that has Autodim, LED Map lights, and Compass display. I have searched every Gentex thread here at 12v and no one has posted the wiring pin out for this mirror. One other person asked about this specific mirror a long time ago, but there was no definitive answer. See here.... https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/forum_posts.asp?tid=13524#reply

Does anyone have the wiring schematic, pin out info for the 7 flat connector on a Gentex 221 from a Ford/Lincoln Continental?

Thank you in advance.

Thank you for the reply. This mirror does not have temp display, so does the pin out layout change when there are not 2 pins allocated to temp probe?

Last i checked, all GNTX-221 models had the temperature. Anyways, if your mirror does not have such, simple ignore those pins as layout does not change.

Looking at the plug with the release on top from WIRE SIDE, the left side is pin 1

Thank you again for the reply. I think all GM & Chrysler GNTX-221's are the same, but I have a feeling the Lincoln might be different. I say that because there are wires coming out of all 7 pins and from what I've been able to find by searching is that some Gentex mirrors have a 5v output from the rearview mirror for autodimming side mirrors to activate. I suspect this is the case with the Lincoln mirror, but someone who's been there, done that would settle it so I don't wire this mirror up incorrectly. Thanks again.
